The History of Limb Beaver
Limb Beaver began in 2014 in Fair Oaks, Arkansas, producing innovative limb and brush-cutting attachments for skid steers and front-end tractor loaders. The original lineup featured the Limb Beaver 4 (48″) and Limb Beaver 6 (72″), engineered to clear overgrown limbs, branches, brush, and small trees quickly and safely—offering a faster, more efficient alternative to manual chainsaw work.
In 2022, the company was acquired by Wendell DeVries, and in January 2024 manufacturing operations were relocated to Amory, Mississippi, where production continues today.
Under new ownership, Limb Beaver has expanded its offerings to include upgraded versions of its flagship models as well as several new product lines, including the Baby Beaver Series, the Junior Beaver Series, the Twin Disc Mulcher, and the Bucket Beaver. This growth reflects a commitment to innovation and meeting the evolving needs of land managers, contractors, and property owners.
The Limb Beaver Product Line
Limb Beaver attachments are built to handle real-world vegetation challenges—from brush and overhang to branches, limbs, and small trees. Our patented multi-position design and interchangeable cutting heads reach up, down, and across corridors with exceptional speed and control. With models compatible with tractors, skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, and boom mowers, Limb Beaver transforms the equipment you already own into a powerful, all-season cutting system.
Highway departments, county road crews, farmers, hunting clubs, grounds managers, and recreational landowners rely on Limb Beaver to maintain roadsides, easements, trails, lakeshores, field edges, and large brush-covered areas. Wherever vegetation needs to be cut quickly, consistently, and safely, Limb Beaver is the tool that keeps operations moving.
Limb Beaver Product Design
Every Limb Beaver model features our patented head design capable of spinning cutting blades at an incredible 3,000 rpm—delivering smooth, fast cuts through material up to six inches in diameter while minimizing debris ejection. This performance comes from an intentional blend of versatility, safety, power, and durability built into every detail.
Our frames are engineered for visibility and precision. An extended forward-reach design positions the cutting plane at least four feet ahead of the carrier, giving operators a clear line of sight and improving accuracy while reducing risk. Hydraulic swing and tilt functions allow full multi-angle control from inside the cab, eliminating the need to reposition machines or expose operators to hazardous manual cutting.
Quick-attach mounting plates make hookup and separation fast and efficient, and the entire product line is designed for straightforward storage and low maintenance. Whether trimming a single limb or reclaiming acres of overgrowth, Limb Beaver delivers professional-grade results with minimal effort.
Engineered for Compatibility
Compact loaders, tractors, and skid steers have become go-to machines thanks to their hydraulic power and small footprint—so Limb Beaver is built to match. Our attachments connect to nearly all modern carriers, and we offer custom fittings for older models to ensure you get a perfect match.
For excavators and boom mowers, the LB 4 and LB 6 offer lightweight yet rugged heads that maximize reach and maneuverability. No matter the carrier, Limb Beaver turns it into the most capable limb, brush, and small-tree cutter in your fleet.
Designed for Operator Efficiency
Time matters—and Limb Beaver is built to save it. By enabling single-operator control from inside the cab, we eliminate the slow, dangerous manual labor traditionally required for chainsaw work and the inefficiency of bushhog mowers.
With a blade that spins dramatically faster than traditional rotary cutters, Limb Beaver delivers cleaner cuts in fewer passes. Operators stay comfortable, protected, and highly productive, even during long workdays or across large properties.
A Safer Approach to Vegetation Control
Chainsaws, climbing, and handheld tools bring inherent risk—and older equipment often increases exposure to flying debris or unstable cutting angles. Limb Beaver was engineered to replace these outdated, hazardous practices with a safer, mechanized solution.
Our attachments offer controlled cutting, superior sightlines, and strong guarding to protect both the operator and the machine. By reducing ground labor and overhead work, Limb Beaver significantly lowers the risk of injury while improving job speed and consistency.
Limb Beaver Strong
Limb Beaver attachments are 100% American made and built by hand at our Amory, Mississippi facilities. Skilled craftsmen assemble every model using premium materials and rigorous quality standards to ensure longevity under the toughest field conditions.
Strength, reliability, and endurance are the backbone of every product we make. From the first weld to final inspection, each Limb Beaver is built to last—and built to work as hard as the people who rely on it.
The Limb Beaver Difference
Usability, reliability, and safety drive every design decision we make—but performance is what sets Limb Beaver apart. Faster cuts, cleaner results, wider reach, and unmatched versatility make Limb Beaver the all-in-one vegetation management tool for professionals and landowners alike.
See it in action for just a few minutes, and the difference is unmistakable—no other attachment cuts as fast, as safely, or with the same level of precision. When productivity matters, Limb Beaver delivers the power to do more in less time.
