Coverage & Term
Limb Beaver warrants that new Limb Beaver–branded attachments are free from defects in design, materials, and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance for two (2) years from the date of delivery to the original customer.
During the warranty period, Limb Beaver will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any covered component found to be defective. Replacement parts may be new or remanufactured and are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty term.
Warranty Details
What is Covered
- Defective or faulty design.
- Defective or faulty materials.
- Defective or faulty workmanship.
- Original Limb Beaver parts and materials installed by Limb Beaver or an authorized dealer.
What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover, and Limb Beaver assumes no liability for, damage or failures resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Insufficient service or maintenance, including failure to follow the operator’s manual.
- Improper use or handling, misuse, abuse, or operation outside published specifications (e.g., hydraulic flow/pressure).
- Overloading of the carrier machine or attachment.
- Incorrect installation or mounting.
- Use of non-original (non-Limb Beaver) spare parts or materials.
- Third-party modifications or alterations not authorized in writing by Limb Beaver.
- Fluids and consumables, including hydraulic or gear oil, lubricants, and similar.
- Transportation/drive time or other incidental expenses.
- Any damage or defects arising from violations of road or traffic regulations.
Owner Responsibilities
To maintain warranty eligibility, the owner must:
- Operate and maintain the product per the operator’s manual and safety instructions.
- Use compatible equipment and stay within the required hydraulic flow/pressure.
- Notify Limb Beaver in writing within 8 days after a defect was discovered or reasonably should have been discovered.
- Keep and provide proof of purchase, original invoices for any warranty parts, and time sheets for labor and working * hours as documentation.
Claim Process & Parts Handling
- Notify Limb Beaver in writing within 8 days of discovery, including serial number, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue (photos/video recommended).
- Allow reasonable inspection/diagnostics as requested. Warranted parts may be recalled for inspection.
- Unless otherwise agreed, any warranted parts must be available for return, freight-prepaid, within 14 days of replacement.
- Upon approval, Limb Beaver will provide repair or replacement of the defective part(s). Labor may be covered when performed as directed by Limb Beaver; travel, removal/re-installation of the attachment from the carrier machine, and transportation are not covered unless expressly approved in writing.
Conditions & Limitations
- Limb Beaver is entitled and obliged to remedy covered defects and may freely decide whether remediation is by repair or replacement of the defective part(s).
- The customer must document that any identified deficiency is not due to an excluded cause listed above.
- This warranty is the exclusive remedy for product defects. Limb Beaver is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including without limitation lost profits, lost earnings, downtime, rental costs, or other financial loss.
- No dealer, distributor, or agent is authorized to modify or extend this warranty.
